December 4th 2008 – Sleigh Driving Competency Testing
It is all very tense at the North Pole today. The team from Alpha Fleet Services have arrived here at the North Pole, which I have to report is very cold, to assess the skills of Santa.
I have it on good authority that Father Christmas has not taken it well that he has to undergo an assessment of his abilities, I am told it took a dozen cookies and two large mugs of cocoa to ease the tension. Mind you the reindeer are not happy either, they thought they were resting until the 24th but we need them to pull the sleigh whilst Santa is assessed. Comet is particularly unhappy and is biting holes in anyone who gets within range.
I am letting Tony and the rest of the team from Alpha Fleet deal with Santa and the reindeer, I am spending the day with the Head Elf going through a long list of of things we need to get done before the 24th December. It doesn’t help that I have just heard that if Fleet Risk Consultants fail it will be coal all round this year whether we have been good or not.
Who would have thought that Christmas could be so difficult.
