I am finding this magical way of working rather difficult to understand at times. As a mobile worker Santa falls under certain rules that require him to limit the hours he works, but with the addition of magic he can achieve an unbelievable amount of work in a very short amount of time.
Now the rules say that Santa can only work for 6 hours before he has to stop for a 30 minute rest period, but with the addition of magic that would get Santa a quarter of the way around the world. This means he would have 3 breaks roughly in India, England and Mexico. That should make for interesting meal choices.
No wonder Father Christmas is a large jolly chap, all those mince pies, snacks and enforced meal stops. Perhaps that is how he manages to not feel the effects of all the alcohol he is left by the nice children of the world.

re the alcohol, it’s easy. With all the exercise and sack humping, chimney climbing and sleigh driving Santa burns an incredible amount of calories. The only way to keep going all night would be to increase his alcohol intake to keep his calorie level up, so he has enough energy to get through the night. I shall level him a bacardi breezer this year, maybe to if he is a good boy
