Smart fleet managers continue to learn lessons
Yesterday it was very refreshing to see a group of professional Fleet Mangers taking the opportunity, of the Institute of Car Fleet Management Conference at Peugeot’s Head Office in Coventry, to improve their already comprehensive skills.
All members of the Institute are qualified in many areas of Fleet Management and they embraced the opportunity to expand their knowledge, because they realise as do most other professionals in this industry that it is imperative to continue learning.
The chairman of the Institute, Roddy Graham quite rightly pointed out that in the current economic climate running a fleet is not the place for interested amateurs. The vehicles that a business either owns or rents, usually forms the biggest expense to a business after staffing costs.
With this being the case, would you trust a gifted amateur with a large influence on your businesses profitability?
The ICFM provides some excellent training courses which can eventually turn your interested amateur into a consummate professional. For details of the course available contact the Institute via its website.
