Why a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
I get rather worried that there are people running vehicles as part of their business who think they know the rules that apply, but are only aware of some of them.
If you only know part of the rules you will quite obviously only get part of the solution in place.
A typical example of this is the no smoking regulations. Most businesses are now aware that they need to make the vehicles no-smoking zones and that the vehicles also need no-smoking stickers in them.
The part businesses get wrong is the size of the stickers required as they are different in four sections of the United Kingdom. The legislation was set in such a way that the sticker in Scotland needs to have more information on it and the sticker in Wales is bigger than the one in England and the Northern Ireland Sticker is the same as the Welsh sticker. Getting it wrong could cost you up to £2,500.00 per vehicle.
This is why you should consult a professional to ensure you are acting in an informed manner, an experts opinion may not be that expensive in fact most readers of this site will have gained a lot of free advice from our team.
