When the temprature rises……
It is more important than ever to make sure your vehicle is properly maintained and checked regularly. It seems that people are neglecting their vehicles, if the regular traffic reports and anecdotal evidence are to be believed.
There are vehicles overheating, burning out clutches and generally suffering from a lack of care and attention. Maintaining your vehicle is not a time consuming task and does not need any skill at all, but just doing the basics could save your life and that of other road users.
Simple things like checking your fluid levels and tyre pressures will both save you money and keep you safe, the way to check these things are in the vehicles handbook.
I urge you to read it and act sooner rather than later, and if you have employees driving on behalf of your business then you had better make sure they are doing it too because if they have an accident and it can be proved to be down to your lack of systems then you and your business could be facing some very serious charges which may include Corporate Manslaughter.
