A glimpse of the future?
I was reading my latest copy of of ATZ – Autotechnology yesterday and was drawn to the article about Tesla’s new Model S.
They claim it can carry 7 people, has a range of 480km per charge (300 miles) and can be recharged with 120v, 240v or 480v and at 480v takes only 45 minutes to recharge! Oh yes it has a top speed of about 130 mph.
All of these make this an extremely exciting prospect in 2011 when it hit the markets, mind you with a price tag of $49,000 (£30,000) it is not in the silly pricing area either.
I am sure there are some down side to this vehicle, but based on the information I have seen I have yet to find it.
