It is that time of year when the foolish people of the country give their cars away for free to any passing person who might like it.
I am referring of course to those drivers who come out of their house in the morning, start their car and then go back into the house for their tea and toast.
A word of warning to you all, if you do this and your vehicle is stolen there is a very good chance that the insurance company will refuse to pay out for the stolen vehicle, as you gave the thief the keys with which to steal your car.
You should ensure that your vehicle is properly defrosted or demisted before commencing your journey, but you should use the time whilst your car is doing this to check your lights, tyres and other vital parts of your vehicle. And don’t leave it unattended even for a minute.
